Yesterday my group rode to the Southwest, first on rural roads up within the foothills then on the gorgeous bike paths in Gilroy. y I rode my non-electric highway bike (Specialised Sirrus, the closest factor I’ve to a “regular” bike). I hadn’t taken it with with this group for some time and needed to see how I stored up with them on it. I did okay and it was enjoyable, however it was difficult, I used to be a bit drained afterwards.
The fog was simply lifting as I left house, the remainder of the trip was sunny however nonetheless cool. There’s some smoke coming down from the wildfire in Oregon close to Port Orford, however the air wasn’t unhealthy.
